Student hydrogen-storage project earns a national bronze award in 2025

A student project exploring portable solid-state hydrogen storage received a national bronze award in the China International College Students’ Innovation Competition 2025.

A student innovation project

“镁氢智储”, a student project from the School of Material Science and Chemical Engineering, explores solid-state hydrogen-storage materials for low-temperature, portable applications, connecting materials research with student innovation practice.

Competition and supervision

On 16 October 2025, the university reported that the project received a national bronze award in the undergraduate creative category of the higher-education track at the China International College Students’ Innovation Competition 2025. The national final took place from 12 to 15 October. University results
