More news on research and student development

  • Added four bilingual stories covering Hui Liang’s NSFC project award, hydrogen peroxide photosynthesis, a review of photocatalytic carbon dioxide reduction, and Shuai Wei’s competition adviser award.
  • Included original sources and member links, with stories ordered by event or original report date and website publication dates shown separately.

Updated member portraits

  • Updated two member portraits and added a third; the new photos appear on the homepage, member directory and individual profiles.

Clearer branding and a record of updates

  • Added Xuzhou University of Technology to the navigation branding, removed repeated information from the hero, and refined title spacing on desktop and mobile.
  • Added bilingual release notes and a footer link, tracing the website’s versions and main changes from V1.0 onward.

Clearer details, more natural motion

  • Clarified the hero artwork caption and research links, and simplified decorative elements that could be mistaken for controls.
  • Added moving highlights, content entrances and expansion transitions, with motion controls in the hero and footer. Refined menus, links and keyboard focus feedback.

A fuller picture of our research and people

  • Reworked the home page, group introduction, research content and six member summaries around four research themes, with clearer contact guidance.
  • Added bilingual stories on formic acid dehydrogenation and a student hydrogen-storage project, distinguishing event dates from website publication dates.

A refreshed visual and reading experience

  • Reframed the existing material-inspired hero artwork, with a consistent cool palette, navigation treatment, type hierarchy and spacing.
  • Improved expandable research summaries, member links and article navigation, with refined mobile layouts and transitions between page sections.

Expanded profiles and research content

  • Expanded bilingual profiles, career histories and academic links for six members, adding sourced portraits, publications, projects and teaching experience.
  • Developed the university and group introductions, organised the research into four themes, and added explanations of materials, interfaces and reaction principles.
V1.0

Our first public release

  • Launched the Chinese and English website with pages for the group, research, people, news, contact information and privacy.
  • Supported desktop and mobile browsing, with a web-based editor for administrators to manage bilingual content and save drafts separately from publishing.

Dates use China Standard Time. Early content updates are grouped into milestones, with numbering starting at V1.0, the first public release.
